Yoga and the Coach Practitioner
Coaching and yoga (particularly Ashtanga, a moving meditation) are common bedfellows. And yet each individual’s approach to their practice is unique.
Disruption is a tear in the fabric of our reality. It is an interruption to our sense of normality and a pause in the rhythm of our life.
Do you sometimes feel as though you’ve hit a wall? That you can no longer see the way ahead, and that your efforts are met only with resistance?
Have you ever performed on stage? A stage with hot lighting, shadowy wings, and the penetrating gaze of an audience?
This is for the courageous. For the courageous who, sometimes, feel anything but. The courageous for whom a hundred years lived in idleness might, on occasion, sound like a blessed relief.
What does not knowing mean to you? Do you go with the flow, or start to sink under the weight of uncertainty? And what is it about not knowing that can challenge us?
We humans are sense-makers. We have been telling each other stories for thousands of years to explain our momentary existence on this spinning blue planet.
